5 Injured In 2 Crashes In Lititz, Police Say (Photos)

Five vehicles were involved in two crashes that left five people injured in Lititz in approximately 24 hours, the Northern Lancaster Regional County Police Department announced on April 9.

The first crash involved two vehicles and it happened at the intersection of Pine Hill and Clay roads on Monday, according to a release by the department shared on Tuesday morning. Both drivers suffered minor injuries, and their vehicles required towing, the police explained. The Brunnerville Fire Co. and Rothsville Ambulance assisted at the scene. 

The second crash involved three-vehicle at the intersection of Newport and Brubaker Valley roads "at the Y-configuration with Speedwell Forge Road," the police said, noting that "all persons were treated at the scene for minor injury by Warwick Community Ambulance." All three vehicles were towed from the scene by Garman's Towing. Penryn Fire Company assisted at the scene. One unnamed driver "will be cited with a stop sign violation," as stated in the release.
